For Taylor's 13th birthday I thought it would be lots of fun to go out and take some birthday pictures of the soon to be teenager. Meagan and Cody came with us and it ended up being a lot of fun. Here are some of my fav's from the trip:

Halle May Wells

Last weekend I was lucky enough to get to take some pictures of little miss Halle May Wells. I wasn't sure what to expect with a baby... I guess I figured she'd be sleepy and just sort of lay there...wrong-o. Halle was making faces, kicking her feet all around and so much fun! I didn't know babies less than a month old had that much energy!
Andrea helped me and we tried our best to make my little make-shift backdrops workable. Here are some of my favorite edited photos:

The one above is Jeremy's favorite. He also helped me make the "old-ish" looking wood backdrop. What a guy! :)

She LOVED the fur rug, we had a heck of a time trying to keep it out of her mouth!

I also was able to make Halle's cute little birth announcement:

Isn't she soooo cute?!

And lastly- a funny face for the road:

Girls on the Run

At the 5k- June 6, 2009
While completing my practicum at the Fort Hall Circle of Wellness Diabetes Project I was asked to volunteer my time with an after school program called, "Girls on the Run". Twice a week we met and exercised in all kinds of fun and different ways. We also had lessons varying from self esteem, bullying, community involvement, friendship, and importance of school. GOTR lasted 12 weeks and on the last day we met up with all of the other GOTR sites and participated in the Heart and Sole 5K Fun Run. I am proud to announce 12 out of our 15 girls showed up and rocked the 5k! It was rainy and a bit cold but they all did awesome. I was so proud of each and every one of them. They hardly ever complained and always gave it their all. It was amazing to see how drastically the girls improved. I am also proud to say I am now 15 friends richer! :)
