Recap

Jeremy and I have been busy, busy, busy. I am still enjoying my job, but am counting down the days until Fall Break (20)! I sure hope it gets here fast.

This is a picture of a student and I during a photography lesson. When in doubt...bust out the "we're number 1" pose. It will always be a classic.

A week ago yours truly scored the winning run for the faculty vs. student softball game. Jer was worried I'd embarrass myself... (obviously he wasn't aware of the unbeatable team of Jessie the pitcher and Amanda the catcher circa 1997ish, lol)! I thought I had done well in the game until I saw a picture of myself batting... I'll have to upload it sometime. All I have to say is yikes, I sure didn't make Jer proud. haha

As usual Jer has been working hard, especially this week. He goes to school at 8 am, gets home from work between 8:30 or 9pm, and then does homework til 11 or 12. Good thing he didn't have homework tonight because he came home and passed out on my lap:) For those of you who didn't see my status on facebook, I am married to a surveying/mathematical/materials testing genius! He is kicking butt to say the least.

luv him.

By the way, he turned 26. Oh my, we are getting old. This picture is from his birthday camp out. I love the multitasking, playing fetch and roasting a hot dog. Many, many talents.
Since we haven't been up to too much lately, I thought I'd blog about Justin and Brits wedding this summer. I'm sure Michelle will appreciate the pics. :) Right?!

I loved the setting and all of the huge trees.

Do ya think they were a little excited?!

Lastly, here are some funny ones we took after the wedding... boys. For the record I did make them do the funny poses, but they were the ones who had the trucks all lined up and wanted a picture. Ha ha, crazies.

I love Blacky, but I have to say I'd vote for the red one ;)

Summer Luvin

Well, summer is sure flying by. There are only three more weeks left until school starts back up. I am still coordinating the Healthy and Empowered Youth Project in Fort Hall, along with teaching the Native STAND classes. So far I've had a pretty busy summer and am really looking forward to things settling back down. But, Jeremy will be starting school in August, so things will probably only get busier from here on out.

Jeremy and I have been lucky enough to go on quite a few rides this summer. I love being able to go follow him around :) Within the last few weeks both of Jeremy's families from Las Vegas were able to come up and go on some rides. We had a lot of fun getting to see them and spending time with them. I don't know why but I didn't get any pictures, dang it!

Jeremy and I went to Portland for a week. I had to go to trainings and grant managements classes during the days but we were able to drive to the coast and did a lot of touring around. It was fun to just get away for a little while.

This summer Ali got to come to her Auntie Manda's once a week for about four or five weeks. It was great. She was sooo much fun to play with and I couldn't believe how much she would change each time I saw her. One night she almost had a number two come out of her diaper on Jeremy! I honestly could have died laughing. haha Go Ali Bug! I don't think I have ever saw Jer move that fast!

I swear she was having fun with me ;)
At May 26th, Jeremy and I celebrated our third anniversary and my grandparents celebrated their 50th anniversary!

My mom and sister found a lady who made the cutest cake for them. It was the road of their marriage and she made little "things" to represent their milestones. My grandpa especially loved the jeep ;)
It was great to see how many people came out to celebrate their marriage, lives etc. I know they really appreciated everyone coming. If I may say so, I think it was a great party! They couldn't quit talking about how much fun they had :)

The Rammell Families.

Look at how tall my little brother is getting! He is going to be a junior this year. YIKES!

Here is my little family on a walk earlier this summer. I just did Andrea and Hailey's family pictures last night and I really loved them... so I need to find a way to talk my husband into letting me do new ones for us. We will see how that goes...

I think if he had a say this is would be his ideal family photo:

Ha ha.
One night he was in the office and kept asking me about how to do things on photoshop. I finally went in there to see what he was up to and this was one of his projects! haha. What a weirdo.
It's a good thing I think he's so cute...

A few rides...

These are some of the same pictures on Facebook, but I thought I upload them anyway. About a week ago we headed for Southern Utah and Nevada for a little vacation. It was so warm there, I loved it.
This is our little camp in Logandale.

Jer and his busted chain.
Some mountain goats right off the trail. Jer tried to scare them out with his bike, but they hardly even noticed him.

Here is Grandpa Rowsell checking on his new Honda.

A few weeks before our trip to Nevada we went for a quick ride in American Falls.

It was a little chilly, but fun. Jer said we will be going on a lot more rides this summer and I am looking forward to it. Hopefully, I will be able to come back from some of them without so many battle wounds!
