happenings around here

Boy, it sure has been awhile since I've posted some new things on here. (Not near as long as Andrea though- jk ) Let's see... Jeremy and I have been staying pretty busy lately. I recently became the proud owner of a lil red dirt bike.

This is a view from our maiden voyage a few weekends ago:
(Rarely do pictures do hills/mountains justice, this stinker was steep and really washy.)
I did a fair amount of walking down the hill while jer did a lot of hiking up the hill to get my bike :) What a nice guy. I did ride down the last steep hill though. Jeremy stood in front of me and we inched along...I think it took us a good 5 minutes to get down. That's Jer at the top getting my lil Honda. *Once again steeper and longer than it looks. Very deceiving.

I've also been staying pretty busy taking pictures. I've met so many great people and have had a lot of fun. I have a few more sessions booked through the next few weeks and am really looking forward to the new year. Here's a tiny tiny sample of shots from the past few months (I tried to put up ones I haven't posted yet) :

Andrea & Casey's baby girl will be here soon (Jan.) and I can't wait to meet her!

I also have a few holiday cards on my photography blog. They are really affordable (like 5 or 9 bucks), customizable and you the best part is you can print them anywhere you choose! Go here to check them out. I still haven't decided which one I'm going to use... decisions, decisions.

This year my family was lucky enough to get everyone together and head to Nevada. We camped in Logandale and did a lot of dirt biking (one day when we rode over 40 miles). (Check out the hot pink gloves my lovie bought me. Love them. Feel free not to check out how not cute I was while on a camping vacay.yikes)

It was so dusty and dirty out there (especially when you are slow like me and at the back of a 7 man group)!

Mick

Well, I just burnt the heck out of the green beans and they are now stuck to the bottom of a blackened pot, so that's that for the update. Hope everyone else is doing well and you have a great holiday season!

That is crazy if that hill really is steeper than it looks in that picture because I think it looks scary!!!!

Looks like you've had a ton of fun :) Random question...what kind of camera do you use for your photography?

Wow! Dirt Biking! That's one thing, I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to try. I just know I wouldn't be able to stay on one of those things. It looks fun though, especially when your whole family does it. Happy Holidays!
