Some of my favorite things...

I ran across some old photos of a cute lil guy sporting a blond mullet. Ahhhh, Jer was so stinking cute when he was little! This is definitely one of my favorite things. Another favorite thing.... my new chandelier! Like usual when Jer first saw a picture of the light he just shook his head and said I was crazy. But at about 11pm when he had it all put together he asked me if I wanted to go over to the lot right then and hang it up?! I was tired so we didn't go that night, but I thought how nice of him to offer to do all of that for me just because he knew how excited I was. We hung it up the very next night and I must say....I love it . Jer will deny it but I know he likes it too! I'd say it's one of my favorite things in the house.

update on the house

A quick update for all our family and friends:

Things are looking a lot different around here since my last post. A few weeks ago Jer, Justin and james tiled the kitchen and baths. We also have cabinets, trim, counter tops and this weekend Jer and I are going to get some of the back splashes done. Ah I can't wait for all of the little details to start happening, sinks, faucets, towel racks...The rock for the front of the house should be here next week sometime along with the carpet. We are both really excited to see how it all turns out! Last weekend my mom and I bought a nightsatnd, mirror and an iron wall thing for the house. Finally we are to the fun stuff! Oh and I want to thank Cindy, Grandma Judy and Grandpa Ferrel for coming down once again and helping us get all those trim holes filled. Your the best!

Well this year was Jers last year to do ISU intramural football and basketball. I think most of the guys Jer played with are from Bear Lake and for the last three or so years it's been mostly the same guys. The championships were tuesday and in all three years I haven't ever got a picture, so I had to snap a quick one. And yes... I think Jer had on the dirtiest shirt he could find!
