I just read some of my old posts and I'm feeling a little sentimental. I sure am a lucky girl. I love my husband and there is nothing better than to be loved by someone the way he loves me.
Now to get back to whats been happening lately: The third trimester of the school year started at Sho-Ban and I couldn't have been more excited! Man, I was so frustrated and defeated by the end of the tri. Although, it was a great learning experience and I am thankful for the lessons I learned (hopefully, I wont have to relearn those ever again:). Along with my full time job and online schooling, I coached the Sho-Ban cheer squad. What a great bunch of girls. Two of the girls cheered the entire year and it was great to see them stick with something and really excel! I am so very very proud to say they went to the Treasure Valley Cheer Competition and placed first in their division! They also outscored the winning 3A team (we are a little 1A school). It was an awesome experience to say the least! The Sho Ban squad only consisted of 3 girls by the time we went to competition, and the gym they preformed in had to have well over 700 people in it. The girls were so nervous and scared but they didn't let it get the best of them! To tell you the truth I felt myself get a little teary eyed as they ran out on the mat! I don't think I was able to take a breath the entire performance! :) Jeremy and his mom were so good to the girls and I, they not only came and supported us but brought us balloons and flowers. I really appreciated their support and I know the girls were glad to have them in the crowd. Here are some pictures throughout the year: (Yes, can you believe it! Jer actually let us use Blacky for the parade! What a good guy. He even washed it for us. The girls loved it!) This is my favorite picture of them. This game was all of the way in Jackpot. And yes I drove them four hours there and four hours back. But, it was so much fun! Some of their lives have changed so much... it makes me miss those days.
The end of 2010 and beginning of 2011 were rough on both of our families. Jeremy's Grandmother Zelda Avery Rowsell and my Grandfather Floyd Rammell passed. “If there ever comes a day when we can't be together keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever” -Winnie the Pooh
Both Jeremy and his brother spoke during Zelda's funeral. I thought they did a great job. My sister and I spoke during our Grandpa's funeral and I had no idea exactly how challenging it really was to get up and share your thoughts and memories of someone you love. Meagan and I weren't quite as strong as Jer and Just but we made it thorough okay. We are so fortunate to come from such loving families, created by such amazing people. I will never forget that.
